Getting Ready for a Wedding In Oahu, Hawaii
I love capturing getting ready. Not only did I get to capture Chelsa’s raw reaction to seeing her floral bouquet from La Flor Events, but check out how much fun getting ready was! It’s amazing seeing the transition from getting ready, and then finally getting dressed.
First Look With Dad + Brother
It was very special for Chelsa to have a first look with her dad and brother. It was so special as her mom, sister, and bridesmaids observed this special moment. Obviously, not a dry eye was in sight, and you could feel all the love her dad + brother have for her
Sunset Ranch Hawaii Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony happened in the beautiful Ferns Garden. This area has great shade and such a jaw-dropping green space. Shane’s reaction to seeing Chelsa walking down the aisle, to seeing two families uniting with a touch at the end of the aisle. Below you’ll get to experience how beautiful this ceremony was.
Family Photos
Chelsa + Shane’s family was so easy and fun to work with. After the wedding ceremony, we took about 20 minutes to work through some of these. Knowing beforehand who is going to be taking photos helps this transition go smoothly. These gorgeous photos were also taken in Sunset Ranch Hawaii’s Fern Garden. This was just to the side of the ceremony space!
Wedding Party Photos
What a fun group, for sure. A quick tip to save some time: If you’re not doing a first look with your fiance but want to gain some time, take your bridal party photos before the ceremony. Each partner takes their individual photos with their wedding party, and then following the ceremony, do the big group photos.
Sunset Ranch Hawaii Bridal Portraits
Undoubtedly, wedding day couples photos are absolutely my favorite to do. Some of the bridal photos were taken right after family photos and then again during sunset. How gorgeous are Mr. + Mrs Lupi? It should be noted that the sunset photos were taken between 15-20 minutes. Definitely take those few minutes during your wedding to take sunset photos!
Reception Photos
Oh man.. are you even ready for these? Last but not least, the reception was full of laughter, drinks, partying, and tons of dancing. Shane + Chelsa certainly know how to throw a party. Please enjoy the reception below!!
