One of Oahu’s dreamy locations with vast open mountains is Kualoa Reginal Park. A perk most couples eloping in Oahu, Hawaii, love is having access to the beach and the mountains in one location. With the lush green mountains, the blue water, and some beautiful palm trees, this is the perfect combination. As a Kualoa elopement photographer, it’s so exciting to help couples plan their dream elopement in Hawaii.
Oahu Hawaii Beach Elopement
Shannon + Marty traveled from Australia to get married on the beautiful and tropical island of Oahu, Hawaii! When they approached me they let me know they wanted a very short, and sweet elopement. Shannon and Marty planned to elope while in Hawaii and then go back home to have a fun reception with family and friends. I helped them plan an intimate ceremony.
The ceremony started on the beautiful blue beach overlooking the big green palm trees. Shanon and Marty shared a quick but very heartful ceremony. However, they both wrote their vows to each other. The vows these two shared were so personal and intimate. After the ceremony, it was time to sign the marriage license. I love it when couples decide to sign by using each other’s backs. Lastly, I took a few minutes to take some detailed shots of the beautiful bouquet.
After the ceremony, I started the couples portraits. I started by taking some pictures by the beach and made sure to highlight those Hawaiian palm trees.
Right after we took a short walk to the beautiful green lush mountains Oahu has to offer.I took some time to highlight Marty’s cool elopement socks. Furthermore, I had to take a moment to capture Shanon + Marty having a celebratory drink. The sunset was stunning, and the birds flying over the mountain was an epic touch. I will be emphasizing that the birds were not paid actors haha.
